What I'd like to share about today that I'm thankful for is my husband who has put so much work and preparation into hunting this year. Our main meat source is venison and so I greatly appreciate how much he does to help fill the freezer. He has been practicing with his bow since this Spring and has gone out every weekend (and then some) and trekked all over the mountains. It's rifle season now and he's still working hard to get his elk and then hopefully a deer.
There were so many years when he was in college and getting started in his career where he couldn't go hunting much, if at all. And it's nice to see him be able to get out and do something he enjoys and that is so important for our family.
